I have flown Air Jamaica since the late 60’s and have always enjoyed my flight. I am a business man - working as an aviation consultant, however, and understand the economics of airlines. Air Jamaica cannot survive as a stand-alone carrier, especially with Spirit and Jet Blue invading the Air Jamaica turf. Combining with Caribbean Airlines appears to be a good strategic move and will, hopefully, allow both carriers to survive and grow.

Thank you very much for singing the praises of my beloved coffee. I am a Blue Mountain Coffee farmer. My family have been for three generations. There is a whole lot of love in every single bean that we produce. I have always known that we produce some of the best coffee in th world, but it wasn’t until I became computer literate and started going online that I realized just how cherished and appreciated our coffee really is. Until the people of jamaica rise up and take control of their own country they will always be underfoot.Follow the Brazilian model of getting rid of the I.M.F.by paying them off and refusing to borrow from them ever.Take 100% control of all our resources including our bauxite and the conversion of it to alumnium.The rich jamaicans must be able to make sacrifices for the country.Maximize our tourism industry by making strictly jamaican.Rush to legalize marijuana and invite scientists to work with our local scholars to tap into the unlimited medicinal potential of this resource.
