Being with Britt and Chris was truly wonderful. I am incredibly proud of them both but maybe even more so of Chris who is juggling a lot of responsibility - and is still guy-smiley. I am so glad I went. It helps to be able to picture them in their surroundings. I love those newlyweds and I think they're doing great!It hit me on the ride to Dallas how much Britt grieves the loss of her siblings and her time with us here. Votes were being cast right up until closing time last night. Cuckoo’s nominated Sydney, Australia won by a single vote at the last minute. It was a great ending to the contest, which went into overtime with Negril, Jamaica due to a tie last week. Cuckoo has won $50 for winning the contest , which has been great fun over the last month. Well, there’s one thing you can’t hold against Fabio Capello and that’s that he keeps his cards close to his chest. Today he’s announced that Peter Crouch will lead the England attack against Ukraine tomorrow night and deservedly so. I was going to stay out of the boycott of Jamaica that Michael Petrelis, Wayne Besen, and Jim Burroway started up. It's undeniable that there is violence in that country against LGBTQ people, and that several high government officials have said some pretty terrible things about that violence.
